This position is a key role in the organization reporting into the General Manager. Technical Skills: · The candidate must possess the ability to draft standard and non-standard terms and conditions for commercial contracts in support of the business for new and existing products and services. · Contracts include sales and services agreements; agent, reseller and distribution agreements; partner agreements and letters of intent; leases; various supplier agreements, etc. · Must be able to assess legal and business risks and advise staff accordingly. · This role requires outstanding negotiating skills. · Must have a thorough working knowledge of Government and regulatory matters and obtaining licenses and permits for operation of offices and service centers. · Additionally, will need General Knowledge for advising on civil, criminal and administrative laws; labor matters; litigation matters; technology transfers and other corporate matters a plus. · Will be required to draft and maintain policies and procedures relating to internal controls and contract processes, and to train internal staff accordingly. Competences: · Must be able to work effectively with and lead project teams to execute objectives successfully and on time. · Must be able to collaborate with outside counsel firms to assist with specialized topics and normal workload demands. · Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills are a must. · Ability to make timely and appropriate decisions in areas of expertise is required. Education/Experience/Language · Language - Fluency in speaking, writing and reading English and Spanish required. · The candidate must possess a Bachelors Degree in the Legal field from an accredited university. · Masters Degree is a Plus. · A minimum of 5 combined years of related experience is required in a similar Corporate position and in a law firm. · In Good Standing with the Mexican Bar Association.
