IMPORTANT AUTOMOTIVE COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR:SQD SUPPLIER QUALITY CHIEF Education and Experience University / college graduated minimum, preferred Master Degree Fluent in English and Spanish 3 years of purchasing or product development experience
5 years of quality experience
3 years personnel management experience, preferably in an international environment

Purpose: Secure the quality, environment and contribute to the cost of supplied parts purchased by the Purchasing OrganizationManages the activities to achieve the quality assurance of purchased items to projects and running productionWork in accordance with the processes.Report to the Continental SQD Director Principal Responsibilities: Independently and in co-operation with the Quality Director, set up objectives and strategies for the quality assurance. Assure that activities are carried out accordingly.Lead and support the Quality Development function towards its assignment and targetsCommunicate Purchasing objectives and demands within the organization and to suppliers, together with this teamFollow up on the supplier’s ability to meet and maintain quality demands.Manage the fulfillment of Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) with the team.Initiate/drive improvement activities at the supplier's facilities.Be responsible for the development of the employees within their respective Supplier Quality Development Group.Be the representative of Purchasing in quality matters internally and externally.In co-operation with Purchasing Directors, Managers and the responsible project representative of Purchasing assure that quality assurance plans are being made for purchased parts and its suppliers for existing projects.Control, co-ordinate the resources for quality development activities regarding purchased material.
