Director of Operations (Comparable Titles: Regional Director, General Manager, Country Manager)

Worldwide Localization Company is looking for “Director of Operations” who will be responsible for management of operations within Argentina so as to contribute to corporate goals for financial performance, client satisfaction, team development, and process optimization.

The company is a leading provider of translation, localization, and testing services by offering globalization solutions that enable companies to enter global markets with high quality localized products and services to meet the language and functionality requirements of customers in any locale.


• Deliver business results through client satisfaction
• Manage Argentinean operations hub
• Represent the company to clients and other external partners
• Maintain relationship with HQ and other operations hubs (US and China)
• Create client solutions and ensure that delivery of projects is in line with client’s agreements
• Actively support business development and account management
• Develop and execute regional operations strategy and priorities
• Manage general & administration functions: finance, human resources, legal IT and facilities related to the hub, in close cooperation with the corresponding corporate functions

Qualifications/Skills include
• General Manager with focus on customer satisfaction and business results; P&L / budget owner
• Localization or IT background and fluent English
• 5+ years’ experience in leadership and project management teams
• Experience with management of complex multi-level organization (>50 people) from multinational company
• Understanding of high-tech outsourcing industry and trends
• Ability to work and communicate successfully within matrix structure and international teams;
• Strong compatibility/sensitivity to different cultures
• University degree (MBA or other management degree is a plus)

Additional requirements:

• Sales and marketing experience is a significant advantage
• Exposure to finance and human resource management
• Strong execution focus, hands-on style, and organizational abilities
• Strong team player and motivator; demonstrated skills in this area
• Demonstrated ability to balance interests of relevant stakeholders: clients, top management, local team
• Desire to continuously self-develop
